We're a design and communication studio, based in Bangalore, India, that came into force in 2013.
Our mission is to embrace empathy and symphony to design a story that is playful but meaningful.
We keep in mind that we are not designing for ourselves. We are here to understand user psyche and better the user experience. Ergo, empathy is our way to put ourselves in their shoes and figure out what they need.
We design to communicate, as the end of the day, striking a connection is all that matters. We don't just prettify things, we also make them more functional.
No matter what we do, or how big or small the venture is, our driving force is the ultimate search for meaning. We try in our little ways to make an impact, something that will stand out amidst the clutter.
Who says you have to outgrow stories to be labelled as proper adults? Bedtime stories might have transformed into design, but that doesn’t make us any less of a storyteller.
Remember how in Ratatouille, Remmy likes the taste of individual spices but together they create a symphony of flavour? Likewise, individual elements are great, but together they are a force to be reckoned with. This applies to our Pichkaari family as well.
Joyfulness makes us more productive and strengthens our work ethics. We play with music and art, among other things to make our work-life more fun. At Pichkaari, we are all in for humour, a sophisticated version of intelligence.

Vikas Jaiswal

With his impeccable taste and attention to detail, Vikas is the leader of the tribe. He started Pichkaari out of his passion for UX and communication. A cup full of Darjeeling tea, a room full of optimistic people, and a playlist full of peppy and upbeat music is what gets him inspired to inspire.

Painter, curator, green thumb, culinary genius; these just few of the many feathers that Priyanka wears on her cap. She is a nurturer by nature, and it shows in her creative approach, her rapport with the team and in all the green that you will see in our office!

The perfect example of a book that can’t be judged by the cover, behind Seb’s wallflower like persona, is a mind that is bursting with ideas, wit and dark humour.
